Sensory Cortex Definition

According to Dictionary.com, the sensory cortex is “the region of the cerebral cortex concerned with receiving and interpreting sensory information from various parts of the body.” Additionally, the site offers this medical definition: “The somatic sensory, auditory, visual, and olfactory regions of the cerebral cortex considered as a group.”

Energy Healing and the Sensory Cortex

The energy healing that I offer makes use of a light medicine (or energy medicine) to heal. So with respect to healing sensory perception, the focus is on purification and restructuring of neural pathways between the actual senses and the brain’s sensory cortex. As a result, these areas can start working more efficiently. And they can also better self-monitor to eliminate toxins and structural anomalies.

To illustrate how this works, within the sensory cortices, light medicine communicates with the finest realms of creation. This results in some structural changes, such as new neural connections which support finer awareness. The corpus callosum in particular receives a great flow of energy and bliss. And this results in an increase of neural connections, as well as purifying various kinds of blockages.
