Serotonin: Hormone Produced by the Pineal Gland

Definition

Serotonin is one of the three primary hormones produced by the pineal gland. (The other two are Melatonin and dimethyltryptamine (DMT).

Serotonin is that very lovely hormone that gives us that nice, floaty feeling, that feeling of comfort and ease all over the entire physiology.

Melatonin is the number one hormone that makes us fall asleep. So it’s tied into the kind of impressions that we have in sleep, dreams or imaginings. While the pineal gland produces melatonin to help the thalamus shut down and bring sleep, it also produces serotonin to bring the thalamus back on line.

The hormone DMT works in much the same way as Melatonin.

Like the other two neurotransmitters, serotonin plays an important role in the cognition process itself.  Furthermore, these neurochemicals have particular pathways they like to travel in the brain, which give rise to sensory, extrasensory and synesthesia experiences.

The production of these neurochemicals tend to activate perceptions, images and visions. Consequently, each hormone helps produce a state of being, a state of resonation in the physical material of the brain. This causes us to think and to picture things in certain ways.

Energy Healing—Self-Healing

Conscious mind first gets the download of sensory experience. Ideas, thoughts and feelings give rise to desires. As a result, we can start the healing process by producing a state of being in the body of what we’re imagining.

In this energy healing we bring our awareness into a specific loop. Because the awareness goes onto a specific loop, it awakens it, it activates it and it aligns it with the light of Divine Being. Thus, it allows that particular structure or aspect of creation to express its full potential.

At this, a state of being is created in the conscious mind. The self-healing energy begins to be activated.

Please see The Pineal Gland—Creating the Perfect State of Being for a deeper understanding of the serotonin hormone’s role in the cognition process that begins in the Crown Chakra and finally results in a self-referral State of Being that activates the healing process.
